Braids & Curls Fade Comb
Details
Achieve the perfect fade on textured hair – without the tugging or breakage.
Most combs are made for straight hair. When you try to use them on curls, braids, or coils, they snag, pull, and damage the hair shaft before you even pick up your clippers.
The Braids & Curls Fade Comb was engineered specifically for barbers and self-cutters working with textured hair.
Made from professional-grade TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) , this comb flexes with your hair's natural movement instead of fighting against it. The result? A smooth detangling experience that leaves the hair ready for a clean, even fade.
Why This Comb is Different for Fades
| Problem with regular combs | Braids & Curls Fade Comb solution |
|---|---|
| Rigid plastic snaps hair | Flexible TPE glides through knots |
| Pulls on braids and locs | Gentle flex protects braid tension |
| Creates uneven sections | Wide-spaced teeth keep curl patterns intact |
| Causes client discomfort | Comfort-grip design reduces scalp pressure |
Key Features
Flexible TPE Material
Unlike hard plastic, this comb bends and returns to shape. It follows the contour of the head, making it perfect for fading around braids and curls without lifting or snagging.

New Black Small Size (15 cm) – Ideal for tight spaces, edges, and detailing around braided rows

-
Transitioning hair

How to Use in Your Fade Workflow
Step 1: Pre-Fade Detangling
Before you touch your clippers, run the Braids & Curls Fade Comb through the hair from ends to roots. The flexible teeth will remove shed hair and loosen tangles without breakage.
Step 2: Section for Fading
Use the wide-tooth edge to part the hair into fade zones (top, mid, lower). The comb's flexibility lets you follow the natural curve of the head.
Step 3: Check Your Blend
After fading, run the comb backward through the hair. If you feel resistance or see lines, you need to blend more. No resistance = perfect fade.
Step 4: Final Detangle
Before the client leaves, a light pass with the comb ensures no loose hairs are trapped in braids or curls.
Pro Barber Tip
*"When fading around braids, never force a rigid comb through. Use the Braids & Curls Fade Comb at a 45-degree angle with a slight bouncing motion. The TPE material will flex between braids instead of ripping them."*
